About The Author

Don arrived in Australia in 1959 after earning a BSci degree from Ohio State University and then had travelled extensively at sea by courtesy of the United States Navy.

His first job in Australia was as a biologist at the trout hatchery followed by a decade of marine fisheries assignments with CSIRO including surveys of tropical prawn resources based at Karumba and leading to his establishment there of a prawn farming venture under the auspices of Craig, Mostyn & Co. Pty/Ltd.
